Undergraduate Degree in Environmental Science (University of the South Pacific)
ANDREW PARIS, from Pacific Harbor, currently works as the Clients Relation and Sales Supervisor at the Nadraki Weather Service. His work includes involves liaising with clients and various organizations with vested interest, actively seeking prospective clients and new project involvement, coordination of community engagement activities, the dissemination of weather information and the upkeep of social media platforms and events. Andrew has also authored and co- authored several articles in Mai Life Magazine on weather and climate related issues in Fiji and the Pacific, as well as presenting to Leadership Fiji on Climate Risks and Impacts in Fiji and the Pacific. Prior to this, he was the Weather Content Developer which entailed the dissemination of weather information and the upkeep of social media platforms. Andrew is also a part time Teachers Assistant with the University of the South Pacific, where he facilitates the growth and learning of Geography students at the largest University in the South Pacific. ALZIMA BANO-MOW, from Nadi, currently works as the Youth Coordinator at the Citizens Constitutional Forum (CCF). Her work involves organizing workshops and forums for both rural and urban Youth, recruiting and training two groups of four CCF theatre members annually, preparing programs and content for workshops and forums, as well as assisting in CCF workshops and forums as and when required. Prior to this she was a Research Assistant with femLINK Pacific where she conducted desk research on the GPPAC- CPAD project on the conflicts around election times in Bougainville, Fiji and Tonga. Her work included media monitoring, reading through newsletters, publications in the countries under study, extracting quotes from DVD which were made by femLINK Pacific, online research papers and additional history books. Apart from this she also assisted in workshop preparation and facilitation, giving weekly reports and carrying out whatever other duty allocated to her by her supervisor. Alzima has also been a part time tutor with the University of the South Pacific, a Research Assistant and Moderator with the Social Education Empowerment Program, a Media Monitor with the Fiji Media Watch and a Finance and Administrative Assistant with Go Advertising Limited. She is part of the National Youth Council and also an Emerging Leaders Forum (ELF) Alumni member
